Advanced Task Killer Free – Kill an app save a phone

by DroidGeek on December 15, 2009

Some apps are like that annoying person at work that’s always in the background not really doing much but taking up precious space. How would you like to kill’em, no not your co-worker I’m talking about killing your Android apps.

Advanced Task Killer (ATK) will kill apps that you don’t want running in the background on your Android phone. Sometimes you’ll notice your Android phone get a bit sluggish and one cause for that could be from a number of different apps running quietly in the background. Use this app to free up your Android’s processor power and memory.

There’s also a $5 version which adds a widget and also a “auto kill” function.

Download ATK from the Android Market for free.

Good idea for an app but it is a pretty large app itself.. they should reduce the amount of ram it uses

Uhm… I thought this one was the worst of several options. Advanced Task Manager was my favorite. The free one has ads, but it had to be the first app I bought (at $1.99).

I downloaded Advance Task Killer, but even after using it about five minutes later the same task are back up there such as: Cooperate calender, Alarm Clock, Settings, messaging and so forth and I haven’t selected either one of them. I’m screaming HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
