Android app for watching live NBA games

by DroidGeek on October 30, 2009

The NBA has announced an Android app which will allow live streaming of NBA games. The app is also available for the iPhone and iPod touch as well. Blackberry users will have to wait til later this year for their version of the app.

The cost of the app is $39.99, which allows you to watch up to 40 hours of live games each week through your smartphone. The usual local TV blackout rules still applies here unfortunately.

If you’re a NBA fan also check out the other NBA apps “Game Time”, and “Game Time Lite” they already have at the Android Market.

For more info check out NBA.com. The app is currently only available for 1.6 users so no Motorola Droid support just yet but hopefully soon.

Yeah, but its only for the G1 – no Droid support at all. What a fail! I soooo wanted to get this app after I saw it on the iphone.
