Is there nothing Google can’t do? Google has just released a little app called Gesture Search and as the name implies it allows you to search content on your Motorola Droid with alphabet gestures on the touch screen.
Draw the first letter of a bookmark, app, song, or contact on the touch screen to get results almost instantly. Narrow down your search by drawing another letter if needed. The more you use it the better it gets from learning about your search history.

This is outstanding…it works great and it will search every area of your phone
I really wish this would be included for the HTC Droid Eris as well as the motorola Droid. I would really liek this app on my phone
