Google answers the question “What’s near me now?”

Have you ever asked the question, “What’s near me now?”. The big “G” can answer that.

First, we wanted to make it fast and easy to find out more about a place in your immediate vicinity, whether you’re standing right in front of a business or if it’s just a short walk away.

When you go to Google’s home page from your Android phone, select the “Near me now” button where you can see businesses in your vicinity. Get reviews of restaurants before you go in as demonstrated in the video below.

Doesn’t work unless you have Android 2.0 I’m guessing. . .
