Google Buzz – Social networking on the Droid

by DroidGeek on February 13, 2010

Google Buzz is now available for use on Android 2+ phones such as the Motorola Droid and the Nexus One. If you use Gmail then you’ve probably seen Google Buzz, it’s basically Google’s social network integrated with Gmail. Now you can point your web browser to buzz.google.com and get buzzing.

So what does it do exactly? I’m no Buzz expert but from what I can tell you can use it to share links, photos, videos and other socially stuff with your Gmail contacts. Buzz mobile can also use the GPS capabilities on your Droid to identify places in your area which you can then tag to posts.

Check out the video and see what Google Buzz Mobile can do.

Go to buzz.google.com from your Droid’s web browser to check it out for yourself.
