Market Suggest – Android app recommendations

by DroidGeek on December 29, 2009

There are so many Android apps flooding the Market everyday its nearly impossible to dig through every one for something interesting. Why not have an app do the grunt work so you can start enjoying life again.

Market Suggest will suggest apps for you based on the apps already installed on your Android phone. You can also filter the list by Free, Paid, Games, Free Games and so on. It’s currently in Beta stage so expect some bugs.

Demo on the Android:

We need an app to manage DVD/CD’s. I’d like to be able to scan the barcode, and have that dump relevant data to a list, something I can export to Excel would be best. Under settings, something that would allow me to choose information from the barcode I want ported to the list, such as Title, Format, etc.

Would LOVE an app that would return the volume to its original level after I have turned it off to attend a meeting. It is not unusual that 5 hours after a meeting I remember I turned off the volume and I find I have failed to hear I had calls and messages that I needed.
The ideal app would be one that I run and it turns off the volume until a time that I specify (30 min, 1hr, 2hr…). At that point all volumes would return to their preset setting!
