Verizon Wireless has made it official folks, the Motorola Droid is coming on November 6 and will cost $199 with a 2 year contract and after $100 mail in rebate (I hate those mail-in rebates).
The Motorola Droid features:

- Google Maps Navigation(!) which is currently in beta
