How do you get the update? I haven’t received any notifications…

The option to update just appeared on my Droid. So far its ok. The GUI is different, the Notifications tab at the top isn’t so close to the Google search deal so I don’t accidentally hit it. SportsTap doesn’t work anymore though.

i believe starting yesterday 1000 packets were sent out randomly. another 9000 between now and friday. then 200,000 on friday and 200,000 every day until all phones have it. they expect the roll out to last 4-5 days.

Just got the update this morning (Dec. 11, 7.00AM EST).

Update went smoothly. Screen motion on the home page is much improved. I like the smaller google search bar as well. I am interested in trying out the enhanced bluetooth functionality as well.

I performed the update and I don’t see any improvement in the Bluetooth interface with my 2 handsfree devices. Still unable to perform hands free dialing via Bluetooth.

I recieved the update, does it delete anything from your phone? Like text messages?

willy December 11, 2009 at 8:13 am

I installed the update and now my ustream app doesn’t work. Hope that the folks at ustream come up with their own update soon, as that is my favorite app on the Droid.

After the update my phone tends to restart all on it’s own, especially when veiwing a picture, taking a picture, or left on a app for a litte too long
