Quake 3 ported to the Droid

by DroidGeek on February 25, 2010

If you’re into PC gaming or any kind of gaming you’ve probably heard of the game Quake and if you haven’t then you’re probably some alien creature visiting from outer space. This game was huge on the PC back in the day and now its been ported to the Motorola Droid aka Milestone. So far the game has only been optimized to play with a physical keyboard, sorry Nexus One owners. The game is still in early development and hopefully will continue to improve with contribution from other developers.

Features:

  • Game uses various inputs such as the keyboard, touch screen and trackball
  • OpenGL 3D rendering
  • Audio
  • Networking
