Slacker Radio has released their mobile app for the Android just in time for the Motorola Droid coming out party. This streaming internet radio application has been available for the iPhone and Blackberry for awhile, and now Android gets a bit of love as well.

Use this app to stream custom radio stations to your Android using the data connection or over WiFI. Create a free account to save and sync your personal preferences to your Android phone easily.

You can find the free Slacker Personal Radio app at the Android Market by doing a search for “Slacker”. New Motorola Droid and HTC Droid Eris users can go straight to the Verizon channel to grab the download.

I had slacker on blackberry and loved it but slacker on android has lots of flaws. I always have to go to the application management and do a force stop to get slacker back up and running. Its good to download but I cant wait for an update.

got the app, love the playlist mix better than pandora, but on the droid. the bass is clipping really bad. blowing my speakers real nasty. the last update of the android OS fixed some of it, but its still there. i cant listen to this in my car. dont want to mess up my speakers. pandora doesnt have that problem so far.

hoping for fix cause i do perfer this over pandora.
