Well, the barcode in Starbucks Card Widget is not a recognized format at corporate Starbucks stores. Not sure where it might work? Target stores?
The system is still new and Starbucks hadn’t trained the baristas before the nationwide roll out. If you are ever told the barcode is not recognized, just ask the barista to press “tender Starbucks card” on the register and rescan. This is becoming less of an issue now as they become more comfortable with the system.
These directions are also in the app market description, website FAQs, and on the barcode screen itself.
Can’t get it to download on my Droid Incredible, any suggestions
The application is currently available only in the United States because mobile payments are only deployed in the U.S. and because Starbucks.com does not support currencies other than USD.
If you are in the U.S. then it is most likely that you got caught up in the mess Google created yesterday in the Market upgrades yesterday to support the new web store and honeycomb conference today. If thats the case just try again, issues should be resolved now.
