Text Edit – Edit text files on the Droid

by DroidGeek on February 2, 2010

Take your text files on the road with a little help from an app called “Text Edit”. Text Edit is a simple app for opening, editing and saving text files on your SD card.

Features:

  • Open, edit and save text files
  • View history of recently open files
  • Rename files
  • Delete files
  • Change font type and size
  • Add background colors
  • Email text file as text or attachment

Note: The app doesn’t handle large files very well due to limitations on the Android OS.

Download Text Edit for free from the Android Market.

Someone tell me how to kill apps running in the background b/c after using Advance Task Killer and wait about five or ten minutes these programs starts running again even if I haven’t used them. Please tell me a way that I can improve battery life with an app killer that really puts them down versus running in the background.
